Labs & Facilities
Engineering Technology Courses have laboratory and hands-on components to enhance classroom instruction, which is important for obtaining a fundamental understanding of how systems, components, parts or materials will behave under different conditions.
Students carry out in this laboratories significant work in state-of-the-art equipment similar to the one in the industry.
Laboratory of Machining and Manufacturing Processes
This Laboratory is located in the M2 building. It is equipped with conventional machining and with computer numerical control (CNC) machines. It has also equipment for polymers extrusion and a section for Arc Welding and Oxyacetylene metal cutting. A 3D printer is also available for rapid prototyping and functional parts.
